First timers    10 Day/Night Eastern Caribbean
Gripes aside, we had a fantastic time. The food was great, the islands were beautiful, and we got to meet some interesting people on board. Oh yeah, and we played shuffleboard.
Pros:  Great food, exceptional staff
Cons:  Poor access to drinks

Beware!    2 Day/Night Nowhere
The food was horrible, the additional charges were ridiculous, and the service was shockingly rude. I would not recommend cruising with Norwegian to anyone. I’m going to try Royal Caribbean or Princess as I’ve heard better things about them.

Happy Easter Break    10 Day/Night Eastern Caribbean
Great food, great dining room staff, wrong time of year due to the number of kids on Easter break cruising. Enjoyable but not great, and definitely not the best value I have experienced.
Pros:  Great food, Venetian Dining Room, staff equally good
Cons:  Cafeteria / buffet, cabin size

Never Met Expectations    7 Day/Night New England
Poor food, terrible entertainment, and rude service do not make up for a good cabin steward and a great itinerary!

The Good, the Bad, and Others    10 Day/Night Eastern Caribbean
Overall, we enjoyed the cruise, as the good things outweighed the bad. Will we go with NCL again? Maybe, but we want to try Holland America and Princess before we do so. We really missed the friendly, get-to-know-you service at the restaurants, but we did appreciate the ability to dine whenever we wanted to. Again, we didn’t run into any lines but we ate early (6:00 p.m.) or late (8:30 or 9:00 p.m.) depending on the day’s activities.
Pros:  Entertainment - excellent; Dining - poor to excellent; Excursions - fair; Cabin Service - excellent; Freestyle Dining concept - very good
Cons:  Dining service spotty - ranged from excellent to poor, mostly fair. Didn't get to know the servers. Food quality was fair, appetizers miniscule. Fancy dish names disguised common meals.

Nice, but not Fantastic    7 Day/Night Bahamas
We had a nice time, but weren't completely impressed.
Pros:  Freestyle dining, well-appointed stateroom, entertainment
Cons:  Food is mediocre, service in dining rooms spotty, felt nickled and dimed on small items

What has happened to NCL?    12 Day/Night Canada
We have done three NCL cruises since 2002. We have always been reasonably pleased. This trip 10/14-26 to Quebec City out of NYC was much anticipated.
Pros:  Itinerary was basis for cruise, weather and fall foliage color cooperated
Cons:  General atmosphere, restaurant service, food in formal and premimum restaurants

The Caribbean on the N. Dawn    7 Day/Night Eastern Caribbean
This was our fifth cruise on NCL ships and each time we are getting more pleasure from "Freestyle Cruising". We had a relaxing cruise and enjoyed tasting the variety of food in the many dining venues.
Pros:  Freestyle Cruising, beautiful ship

Feel Free to Wait in Line.    7 Day/Night Eastern Caribbean
I have cruised before and would not recommend Norwegian. Freestyle dining means you’ll be free to wait in line every day and for long periods of time. Let’s face it, that’s not what we go on vacation to do. Spend your hard earned money on another cruise line.
Pros:  St. Thomas was very nice
Cons:  Long lines

We traveled with six other people and all agreed this was the worst ship we were on.

Great First Cruise    7 Day/Night Eastern Caribbean
We both loved the entire experience.
Pros:  Great service and friendly crew, penthouse suite amenities, VIP treatment, food and the whole dining experience. We felt like we lived in luxury for a week.
Cons:  Not much. Anything that was less than perfect, we chose to ignore.
