What is Freestyle Cruising?

You keep seeing Freestyle Cruising and you don’t know exactly what it is, right? That is because we’re the only cruise line that has anything like it. Starting with the fact that there are no set dining times. You only have to dress up when and if you want to. And you don’t have to eat in the same restaurant twice. And, you are not asked to sit with strangers like on other cruise lines. We have created that kind of freedom throughout the entire ship with a lots of fun things to do, or not do. It’s Norwegian Cruise Line’s Freestyle Cruising. Where you’re free to whatever.
Freestyle Dining
No other cruise line offers 13 restaurants on a single ship. In fact, no other cruise line even comes close. Steak, sushi, Teppanyaki, Asian Fusion, Italian, Tex-Mex, tapas, French, Mediterranean, buffets, pizza. The choices are endless.
With up to 13 restaurants, you’ll find just the food you’re in the mood for. If you just can’t decide, there’s also 24-hour room service. And our restaurants are open for dinner from 5:30pm to midnight with seating until 10:00pm. Do your thing and have dinner when you want, , not when the dinner bell rings. It’s your choice. And we know that not everyone wants to eat dinner with people they don’t know. So you’re welcome to enjoy dinner with the people you came on vacation with. Of course, if you’d like to meet new people, we’ll happily seat you with other cruisers. Your choice.
Freestyle Accommodations
It’s a vacation with your best friends. It’s your first anniversary. It’s a vacation with your best friends. Or your family reunion. And it’s all good because we’ve created the most flexible staterooms and suites on the high seas. Cozy Inside Staterooms. Huge 3-bedroom rooftop Garden Villas. Expandable Family Suites. And everything in between.
Freestyle Attire
One of you wants a little glamour and one of you wants to wear khakis. No problem. Thanks to our policy of no formal policy, you can be elegant one night and casual the next. It’s called resort casual and it’s much more comfortable than wearing a tuxedo.
Freestyle Disembarkation
With other cruise lines, getting off the ship can be a lot of “hurry up and wait.” Not with NCL. We thought that maybe sleeping in and having a quiet breakfast or a quick workout might be a better alternative. So relax any way you like, until it’s really time to go.
